Celebrate 70 years of Stark Caverns with an old fashioned Lantern Tour. On this guided tour, you'll explore the cave in the same way that early settlers did with handheld lanterns. This unique experience will focus on the history of the cave and includes a tour of our artifact collection, a free beverage and an opportunity to pan for gemstones.

Group Rates are available at a flat free rate of $280 for parties of 12 or less. Group Reservations must be made by phone or email at least two days in advance. For larger group sizes please contact us for additional options.
Due to safety concerns, children under the age of 5 are not allowed to participate.
All tour tickets must be booked in advance.
Lantern Tour Ticket Policy
TICKETS ARE NOT SHIPPED Event tickets are not shipped. Please bring a valid ID to the event and we will verify your information with the credit/debit card used for purchase. You may bring your confirmation receipt to the event for faster check-in.
TICKET CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS Cancellations must be made at least 2 days before the event to receive a full refund. Cancellations two days and less before the event will incur a 50% per ticket/person cancellation fee. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend the tour and failed to notify us in advance.
HOW TO REQUEST A TICKET CANCELLATION & REFUND Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit cardholder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be issued back on credit or debit cards.
Lantern Tour Cancellation & Refund Policy
STARK CAVERNS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE/CANCEL REGISTRATIONS. If Stark Caverns refuses a registration, registrants will be offered a refund.
EVENT CANCELLATION. Stark Caverns reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances that would make the event non-viable. If Stark Caverns cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
INCLEMENT WEATHER. In the case of inclement weather, Stark Caverns will post a notification on our website and our Facebook page, and send an email to attendees that have provided their email address during online event registration.
